If you are a student of a Higher Education Institution and you are interested in completing part of your programme in the CSMA, this section will give you all the information you need.
APPLICATIONS
If you are interested in doing an Erasmus stay in our Conservatory, you must:
1.Contact the International Relations Office of your centre. They will inform you about the Erasmus program and its applicable regulations for your country.
2.If there is an agreement between your sending institution and us, you may say your application directly to us. If there is not an agreement in place, your International Relations Office will need to submit an application for this agreement to be signed, in order to go on with the next steps.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
For the Autumn term: 30 of April.
For the Spring term: 30 of October
REQUIRED DOCUMENTSS
You’ll need to send us the following documents (in English, German or French) by email or postal mail:
- Student Application Form
- Learning Agreement (please, check our study programme)
- A DVD recording with at least three pieces of different styles of a minimum of 10 minutes each. In the case of the Composition students: an original composition.
- Curriculum Vitae
- Motivation letter
The Student Application Form and the DVD must be signed by the student’s professor.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED ON ARRIVAL
- Passport or ID Card
- Learning Agreement (plus an extra photocopy)
- European Health Insurance Card (plus an extra photocopy)
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE END OF THE STAY
- Certificate of stay issued by the International Relations Office
- Learning Agreement, with a Transcript of Records for the subjects and credits passed.
LIFE AT THE CSMA
- The main working language at the CSMA is Spanish. Theoretical classes are always given in Spanish, but individual instrumental classes may be given in English. No certification of the level of Spanish is required, but we strongly recommend the students to attend Spanish classes before or during their stay.
- Opening hours of our facilities: open daily, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 23:00 h, and on weekends from 09:00 to 19:00 h.
- Modern facilities and plenty of study spaces. Classrooms, practice rooms, the Hall, a recording study, library… Conoce aquí nuestras instalaciones.
- Other services for our students include lockers, cafeteria-restaurant, students’ room, parking… Everything that is required for an environment that supports both learning and social life.
