La exalumna del CSMA Julia Cruz, ha sido premiada por la fundación americana Taki Alsop Conducting Fellowship, liderada por la maestra Marin Alsop. Junto a Irene Delgado han sido las primeras españolas en ser reconocidas por esta Institución.
