Our orchestra was born as a pedagogic project of the Conservatory of Music of Aragon, created by Professors Fernando Gómez, Antonio Nuez, and André Cebrián, who have been carrying out this work for more than 5 years.
The orchestra is composed of all the conservatory flute students, to which other instruments such as piano, cello or percussion may occasionally be added. We use several instruments of the Western Concert Flute family, such as the piccolo, the alto flute, the bass flute, and the contrabass flute.
We have hosted as invited guests several famous soloists and conductors such as Juan José Hernández, Julián Elvira, Abel Aldas, Miguel Romea, Jorge Carievschi or Salvador Espasa.
From the start, we have given several concerts in different locations within our country. It is worth mentioning our performances in Barcelona, within the II Flautist National Congress (AFE 2012), and in Bilbao, as part of the Musika-Música Festival 2015.
