Pedagogical projects

The CSMA Pedagogical Concerts plan is presented as an educational renewal initiative that pursues the firm objective of bringing music closer and facilitating the musical experience for children and young people throughout the community of Aragon through two innovative programs.

MUSIC THAT ISN’T MUSIC UNTIL IT’S HEARD

“Music that isn’t music until it’s heard” takes place in the CSMA “Eduardo del Pueyo” auditorium and is a consolidated benchmark for pedagogical concerts in Aragon, through which more than 120,000 young Aragonese have already passed. Through sessions focused on new music, and promoted from the percussion department, the concert series for young people, aimed since 2005 at educational centers for Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, and Special Education in the Community of Aragon, represents for many participants their first links with the integrating universe of music.

CSMA+ BRIT-ARAGÓN

A musical-literary experience in English, developed through music, literature, cinema, dance, or musical theater, is promoted by the General Directorate of Educational Policy of the Government of Aragon and the BRIT-Aragón program, and aims to reinforce pedagogical aspects and the development of bilingual competencies through music. This program takes place in the Mozart Hall of the Zaragoza Auditorium.

EN FAMILIA (WITH FAMILY)

The CSMA En Familia concert series, held on Sunday mornings, is decidedly committed to a diverse and surprising program for families to enjoy, seeking to awaken the senses of the little ones. It is the only program to date in this format on the Aragonese scene that, through disparate musical experiences (silent film, musical theater, tangos, or gestural music), manages to transmit a taste for music and facilitate a guided live musical experience.
