The\u00a0CSMA Camerata<\/strong>\u00a0aims for the practice of quartet and chamber music to be cast into the orchestral repertoire, both in repertoires solely for strings and ones that include other instruments.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The purpose of our project is twofold: on the one hand, it aims to cover a repertoire that, while holding a crucial position in our musical awareness, is nevertheless left out of other groups and ensembles, and, on the other hand, to train the participant students in a discipline that is essential for their professional future.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Besides that, as its approach is strictly focused on chamber music, the Camerata<\/strong>\u00a0teaches students that the democratic values of individual responsibility and professional compromise are key elements to get, as a result, a collective project that keeps alive the different personalities of all its members. Each musician makes an effort to integrate his sonority and confer personality to his strings and having achieved that, to endow the group with a rich and multifaceted signature sound, which makes it singular, unique, and in possession of an artistic value that is different from that of a conventional orchestra.<\/p>\n

The CSMA Camerata<\/strong>\u00a0is conducted by the Quiroga Quartet members Aitor Hevia and Cibr\u00e1n Sierra.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
